about dirtypop is an independent magazine out of Brooklyn, founded by pop culture vultures with a passion for music, media, and social justice. First released in May 2004, dirtypop provides a forum for artists, musicians, activists, the LGBT community and fans alike to discuss the sounds and images of a society in which we participate, yet often simultaneously reject. dirtypop is a bright and playful, well-informed social critique of music, pop-culture, and the many contradictions that plague our collective conscience. |
